Los Angeles Fire Response

Unfortunately very suddenly our community was rocked by devastating fires. As with all traumatic events the children of our community are forced to walk a journey they could not anticipate and is difficult to understand. Our Warriors must carry this load on top of the trauma they are already navigating. We are committed to continue to be a place our partners can turn to support our Warriors.

Warrior for Children has been contacted with requests and we know we are early in the healing and recovery process. We will serve in this situation as we always do with our three pillars:

1. Tangible resources (hygiene, clothing, shoes, toys, blankets, etc)

2. We will plug our Warriors into trusted counselors and mental health support as needed.

3. We will be here until our support isn’t needed and they are thriving in their new normal. We know together we can show up for our Warriors!
