Volunteer - Warrior for Children

If you would like to be a new volunteer at Warrior for Children, welcome!

Tour our facility: Before becoming a volunteer, we ask that you come take a tour, meet our team, and learn about what we do to serve kids every day that are navigating trauma. You can sign up to volunteer and tour the facility the same day. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled volunteer time to allow for the tour.

Fill out our Volunteer Form: Starting in Dec. 2024 all volunteers will need to complete our updated volunteer form. If you are under the age of 13, we will need parent consent.

Complete a Live Scan: If you are a regular volunteer, you will be required to complete a livescan. Due to the nature of the services we provide, volunteers may interact with children. Therefore, anyone over the 18 is required to complete a Live Scan free of charge.

Schedule your Volunteer Hours: We are 90% volunteer based, therefore knowing when our volunteers can commit their time is vital. You can schedule your hours through our link available on our website; https://warriorforchildren.org/volunteer/

Do we offer service hours: Yes! We gladly offer service hours to students or clubs. Students must be over the age of 13 or must be accompanied by an adult.

Group Volunteers: We are happy to accommodate for group volunteers. We offer group volunteer times twice a month. These dates fill up quickly and are on a first come first serve basis. Group volunteers are required to complete a donation drive.

We want our volunteers to feel comfortable and confident when they volunteer at our Impact Center, but volunteer jobs change depending on what we need at the time. We ask that you please communicate any restrictions you may have.
We serve about 300 children a month and cannot predict our needs. Hours always vary, depending on day, or week.
We are always looking for donations, partnerships, and other services. Please ask us about Volunteer opportunities outside of the Impact Center.
