Hello Warrior supporters!
It that time of year and we have started preparations for
Warrior for Children’s Annual ‘Gift the Joy’ Toy drive.
We serve kids all year long in our surrounding counties, but this is our favorite time of year! Warrior for Children proudly continues to facilitate the largest personalized Christmas gift giving experience in Southern California. This means we collect personalized wish lists for over 3,000 children and provide them with the wrapped Christmas gifts they’ve requested.
This is made possible by YOU, our dedicated supporters. We have amazing businesses, schools, and social groups that host toy drives by displaying our donation boxes and collecting thousands of toys. Last year, we provided 3,029 Warriors gifts and stocking stuffers.
How amazing is that? This year we are going to do that again.
So how can you help? We are asking you to host a drive again this Christmas season. You can choose to host a Toy Drive and collect toys from our Wishlist, collect our High Demand Toys, and/or the option to host a Giving Tree. This allows your team members an opportunity to shop our Warriors’ personal wish lists. We will provide you with ornaments labeled with specific items that our Warriors have requested, which can be displayed on your tree or wall! Items can be collected at your location or shipped directly to us using our quick shopping QR codes.

We will be distributing the Giving Tree tags the first week of November, with a due date for items on December 3rd.

We will begin distributing Donation boxes the first week of November, and our drive will run through December 13th.
Attached is our Gift the Joy flyer with more information. It contains QR codes for direct online shopping of our most requested items.
We would like to thank you again for all that you do to support our Warriors. Please feel free to share this with any other businesses or organizations that you think may be interested.
We also rely heavily on our volunteers to help us wrap 3,000 wish lists. We invite you and your family to join us.

Volunteer shifts will be a 2-hour time slot. Slots will run from November 17th through December 13th. Please keep in mind that we will be closed November 19th – November 30th for Thanksgiving break.
